This week’s Imagine Commerce 2015 in Las Vegas was a great opportunity to network with more than 2,400 commerce experts including merchants, agencies and technology providers from more than 40 countries.

The first day of the 5th annual Magento and eBay Enterprise commerce conference featured Michael Jones, Head of Affiliate for eBay Enterprise Affiliate Network (EEAN), giving an update on the state of the network.

Friday Pulse: The Post Tax-Day Edition

Many American already filed their tax returns, but the procrastinators hopefully hit the April15th deadline and now know what they owe or how much their refund will be. That might mean more money to send online. Maybe we’ll see an uptick this month? Regardless, there are still a lot of online spaces that are going strong like video and mobile. View From the Top: EU Goes After Google Shopping

Earlier this week European regulators brought antitrust charges against Google for allegedly promoting its own comparison shopping service, Google Shopping, at the expense of competitors. If found guilty, Google could potentially face fines of $6 billion.

The crux of the issue, according to the European Commission’s “Statement of Objections,” is that Google “prominently displays its comparison shopping service in its general search results pages, irrespective of its merits,” the Commission alleges.
