This week I’m in Orlando attending and speaking at The Retail Traffic & Conversion Summit 2015. The two-day conference focuses on the two most important success factors in an e-commerce business are Traffic and Conversions.

I was excited to be a speaker this year, as I was also one last year. My session called “Engaging Your Customers – How HumbleChic.com Used an Early Aggressive Strategy to Convert More Shoppers”, took place earlier today.

My fellow presenter, Daniella Baider Berkson, CEO of HumbleChic.com, and I discussed how engaging the modern consumer requires a fine balance of finesse that can be mastered through real-life testing. We shared insights and strategies on early engagement strategies like growing your email list, asking for Facebook ‘Likes’, and how to leverage cell phone numbers.

The early engagement strategies we shared are real-life examples that helped HumbleChic, a hot new women’s clothing and accessories line out of New York City, convert more shoppers. We also share best practices, ideas and data on the strategies that work the best to differentiate your customer acquisition program from the herd.
